Blaauwpoort Venue & Lodge is a unique wedding venue situated on a privately owned Country Estate that is set in the lush greenery and unspoiled natural beauty of the bushveld overlooking the majestic Magaliesberg.
In a safe and private environment, 45km from Pretoria and 100km from Johannesburg, Blaauwpoort is the ideal breakaway and has the perfect setting for a wedding, conference, birthday, corporate function or anniversary.
Your Wedding
The unique thatch roof venue consists of a main hall and an oversized balcony overlooking a magnificent valley. The venue boasts an ambience of tranquility in its country surroundings and will accommodate for a variety of tastes.
Only an hour’s drive from Johannesburg and 40 minutes from Pretoria, Blaauwpoort Venue& Lodge is the ideal venue for a wedding with a difference.
Our bushveld chapel can seat up to 200 guests and our outside chapel area is truly special with its 8 meter high, 100 year old aloes that brings ambience to the experience.
The venue itself can seat up to 250 guests comfortably and our in-house wedding coordinator will cater for your every need. The gourmet food is exquisite to any palate and reflects the South African traditional foods.
Our competent staff will ensure that all your arrangements are done in accordance with your very wishes. Ample parking together with this being a private game farm, utmost privacy and 24hr security together with expert catering and décor will be provided.
Our venue hire includes the following:
- Tables & Chairs
- Cutlery, crockery and glassware
- Standard white or stone table cloths
- Standard white or stone napkins
- Chalet for the Bride and two Bride’s maids the evening before the wedding
- Dinner for the Bride and Bride’s maids
- Breakfast for the Bride and Bride’s maids
- Snadwiches and champagne for the wedding party during the course of the day
- Honeymoon Suite for the Bride and Groom
- Breakfast for the Bride and Groom
