The classic Cape Heritage style building is cleverly designed to allow maximum flexibility in accommodation.
The restaurant at Cassia seats 100 people with additional place for 80 more guests on the suspended balau deck outside when the weather is fine.
The dedicated conferencing kitchen offers pre-designed conference menus at various price points but these are flexible to suit individual needs and dietary requirements. Or our team of chefs will design an individual menu specifically suited to your event.
While there is a full bar and wine list to choose from, the multiple award winning farm wines are featured prominently. A tasting of Nitida is offered to assist in wine choice or you can follow chefs wine suggestions.
Cassia has 2 dedicated function areas. The smaller Sage Room is wonderful for private VIP dinners, and smaller, intimate weddings.
The larger, Saffron Room is completely self-sufficient, accommodating 30 -100 delegates depending on configuration, or it can be seamlessly enlarged into an attached bedouin tent to seat 200 people in comfort.
During and after the days activities, choose from the suspended balau deck, a secluded cobbled courtyard or the kikuyu grassed verge to breakaway and re-energise. Relax immersed in the tranquility of the vineyards and moving water.
On most days you will see the resident springbok nearby and be visited by an array of birdlife including spoonbills, kingfishers, pelicans, a variety of ducks (yellow-billed, black), or even, if you’re really lucky, you could witness a fish-eagle catching lunch.
Here is a combination of unbeatable views, imaginative food and wonderful wines in a unique environment. Whatever your needs for your wedding, Cassia's professional team can custom design a wonderful event with you.
