About Us

With one of the most celebrated views in the Cape, Clouds Estate is an undiscovered gem in the heart of the Stellenbosch / Franschhoek Winelands. This unique boutique vineyard & guest estate is situated next to Delaire Graff Estate at the crest of the Helshoogte Pass, overlooking the beautiful Banhoek Valley, with the majestic Drakenstein & Simonsberg mountains taking pride of place in the foreground.

The Mediterranean style structure houses the guest Villa, the self catering Clouds Village, the chapel and the pavillion. The estate is surrounded by our own vineyards against the dramatic mountain backdrop.

Your Wedding

Clouds offers either a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony site situated next to a classical fountain with a breathtaking mountain backdrop or a romantic, stone floor domed ceiling chapel.

Get married in our beautiful chapel with domed ceilings which can seat up to 120 guests. Or have your ceremony under a romantic canopy in our lush gardens on the estate.

The Pavillionwith its arched windows and semi open spaces provides a serene garden room atmosphere as a reception space, is the perfect location for your reception. Beautiful arched windows frame the awe inspiring views of the mountains and vineyards. The Piazza can host up to 100 guests.

For your pre-reception drinks choose the overhead Piazza which offers the best vantage position over the uninterrupted mountain and Franschhoek valley views, and is ideal for pre-drinks or an open-air ceremony. For larger weddings we can accommodate your guests in a marquee set on the Piazza.
