About Us
D'Aria Estate in Durbanville, outside Cape Town,  is designed to awaken and celebrate the senses – to see, to smell, to touch, to taste, to hear and to feel. Our food and wine represents the culmination of all the senses into a singular performance or "Aria". The Muse, the symbol for D'Aria, is a youthful, free-spirited androgynous figure wearing a flamboyant hat with feather and cape. Exuding a mystical charm, the Muse playing a flute and followed by a bird in flight, is merrily strolling along, following its heart. The land offers richness in heritage and inspiration, which we bring to life in a unique fashion of titillate the interest and imagination of both local and international visitors. The Estate currently encompasses Poplars Restaurant (part of which dates back to 1702 – see the Koffieklip wall exposed in the bar area), D'Aria Guest Cottages, D'Aria Function Venue and D'Aria Catering. Future plans for the D'Aria Estate include a Wine Cellar and Boutique Hotel. We invite you to follow your heart to D'Aria and experience it for yourself!

		Your Wedding
		The D'Aria Function Venue is a facility dedicated to hosting any event to pique your senses. It is ideal for weddings, conferences, special events, training seminars, corporate entertainment, exhibitions and launches. Have your wedding ceremony in our beautiful gardens or in one of our inside venues. The venue can seat 350 cinema style for a conference or 200 for a dinner dance. The foyer is ideal for pre-drinks or as a reception area for your guests. In addition to air-conditioning, catering and secretarial services, the venue offers a full range of equipment to hire. We host a great line-up of entertainment as well. Catering Call us to arrange your special event. We cater for cocktail parties, boardroom lunches or dinner parties, corporate banquets, buffets, weddings (incl. private venues) and any other social event. We also offer Halaal catering.

Accommodation
Our four star Guest Cottages offer superior comfort and quality with a high standard of furnishings and services. The 12 fully serviced, air-conditioned cottages with 24 rooms all have secure parking and 24 hour security and include facilities such as laundry, catering, satellite T.V. (selected channels) and heated towel rails in the bathrooms. Why not take a leisurely stroll through our beautiful vineyards? This peaceful pastime is the perfect way to unwind after a full day of touring or business. D'Aria is situated on a lovely cycling route which meanders through the Durbanville winelands. We also arrange wine route tours and tasting on request.
