About our Lodge
Welcome to Grand Kruger Lodge, situated in the heart of the bush veld approximately 450 km from Johannesburg. We provide an ideal setting for relaxation in the bush veld. We offer perfect tranquillity, superb accommodation and exquisite cuisine to make your stay with us a memorable experience. 		Your Wedding
		Grand Kruger Lodge provides an ideal setting for romance and relaxation in the bushveld, in the evenings enjoy African cuisine al-fresco, around  a friendly bush fire while enjoying the nocturnal sounds of the wild life around you. Grand Kruger Lodge will make your wedding day a very special occasion. Grand Kruger Lodge recently completed their chapel, which offers an idyllic setting for a romantic wedding. The Lodge’s friendly staff ensure good service, guaranteeing a genuine African experience. Our staff have been trained to make this special occasion a hassle free wedding and to see to all your needs, from serving drinks on the patio or bar, luxury accommodation & our exquisite cuisine. You don't need to stress, we do it for you. We wish you much joy and success with your wedding arrangements or we can help you with these arrangements. Our lodge can cater for a maximum of 80 guests with 44 guests accommodated in our luxury suites and rooms. Additional accommodation can be arranged at other lodges within close proximity if required. For parties up to 80 guests the ceremony & reception will be held in our chapel, for numbers over 80, the ceremony will be in the chapel and the reception held in the lodge. For private functions it is necessary to book the entire lodge. A minimum stay of 2 nights is required for weddings. For public holidays a minimum stay of 3 nights is required. There are no additional meal costs at the reception for in house guests, for nonresident guests there is a charge.

Accommodation
Grand Kruger Lodge sleeps 44 guests in 8 rooms & 6 units in the Bush Camp, allowing maximum privacy and attention at all times. The accommodation is luxurious and the eight double rooms with en-suite bathrooms, have been lovingly decorated to create an atmosphere of elegance. The accommodation in Grand Kruger Lodge has been designed with comfort in mind, despite the fact that guests spend most of the time outside. Grand Kruger Lodge also offers our clients the opportunity to stay in our exclusive Bush Camp Chalets. These chalets are decorated exquisitely with African artifacts, whilst the exterior is an alluring facade of local architecture. Cocktails at the sparkling pool are a popular sun downer site. In the evening our African cuisine alfresco around a crackling bush fire will stimulate the senses while enjoying the nocturnal sounds. On any given day our guests can enjoy a host of animals walking past the Lodge or drinking at our watering hole below the pool deck. This is a truly unique opportunity to feel at one with the bush in luxury !! Meals can be taken in the main Lodge dining room or delivered to the privacy of your chalet. Experience nocturnal and early morning calls of the wild.

		Lodge Activities
		We here at Grand Kruger pride our selves on giving you the best game viewing experience possible. We offer game drives, day or night in open game viewing vehicles or luxury air-conditioned vehicles.  Qualified game rangers provide guests with a thrilling opportunity to view not only the Big Five but also the full spectrum of flora and fauna that the nearby Kruger National Park has to offer. There are in excess of 350 bird species that add to the overall enjoyment.
