Hemingways Café and Restaurant is situated in Plettenberg Bay on the Garden Route of South Africa. Nestling alongside the Polo fields on the banks of the Bitou river, Hemingways offers it's guests a serene and tranquil environment with abundant bird life on view and a tempting menu to please most palates.
The lawns are ideal for nature-lovers and families (playground for kiddies), the Cuban-style Cigar Bar offers light meals and the unique elevated dining-decks with river views and the main restaurant for the enjoyment of the sumptious delights of our speciality African cuisine.
The menu varies according to the season, ensuring that only the freshest local produce is served, Venison, Ostrich, Karoo Lamb and of course the catch of the day from the ocean.
Hemingways is open for breakfast (9-11am), lunch (12-3pm) and dinner from (6.30 – 10pm). So ensure you plan a visit to Hemingways for a light meal or a romantic candle-lit dinner. You will leave with a treasured memory!
Hemingways is also available for functions and weddings, catering up to 130 people.
