The 248 air conditioned rooms are situated on two levels, ensuring privacy and stunning views. Rooms are either sea or garden facing and each has a private terrace or balcony. All of the rooms are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, individually controlled airconditioning, minibar, individual safes, television (with video channel and radio) and international direct dialling telephone.
The Standard Rooms make for comfortable living and is styled in typical island décor. Bathroom includes shower and toilet. Hair dryers are available from reception. Standard rooms include sea and garden facing categories.

LE FRANGIPANIER
This restaurant is uniquely located amidst the backdrop of coconut palms. All needs are catered for at Le Frangipanier, with buffet breakfasts and themed evening banquets. It is also close by the entertainment area where cabaret shows are performed and the resident band plays each night.
LE NAVIGATOR
A transformed colonial mansion, Le Navigator boasts panoramic ocean views that add to the romantic ambiance of the hotel. From appetising lunches to superb a la carte dinners, the dining experience at Le Navigator is one to be savoured. After dinner, this venue is transformed into a disco, the Mauritian way.
LE PLANTEUR
Le Planteur, the main bar, overlooks a landscaped water feature in the gardens. You also have the option of dining at Le Mauricia; the sister hotel in Grand Baie.

What to do

Evening entertainment is different every night - a local band for dancing, cabaret and disco, fashion show, Mauritian dancing.
In true Beachcomber style there is an abundance of land and water sports available - these include - tennis courts (of which 2 are floodlit), table tennis, a variety of ball games, yoga, archery and American pool. Watersports include waterskiing, windsurfing, sailing, snorkelling and a glass bottomed boat to view the coral and marine life. At an additional cost you can also enjoy scuba diving or deep sea fishing or a catamaran cruise. There is no gymnasium at Le Canonnier.
The Wellness Centre is built around a huge banyan tree and offers a variety of treatments to spoil you with.
UNDERSEA WALK
A short distance from the resort, 20 minutes can be spent wandering through the underwater gardens of the ocean. A special helmet acts as an underwater breathing apparatus and also allows for unhindered views of the abundance of the sea life that calls the reef home. A picture of a honeymoon couple’s undersea adventure will undoubtedly be a fine addition to any wedding album.

Surrounded by three magnificent beaches, Le Canonnier is situated at the northern tip of Mauritius. This affords the hotel unprecedented views of the Indian Ocean and the pristine white beaches from nearly any vantage point. A mere 5km from Grand Bay, visitors to the island’s central hub will ensure retail therapy to be an understated occasion. With both Grand Bay and Port Louis just a short distance away this excursion is definitely recommended.
