The Waterberg The Waterberg is a richly diverse area in Limpopo. The Waterberg mountains create a divide between the great fertile Bushveld basin in the east and the flat grasslands that stretch as far as Botswana and beyond towards the West. This divide creates a unique mixture of vegetation and geomorphology giving rise to thornveld savannah on the floor of the valley while cooler climates higher up the slopes of the mountains create a wetter and milder microclimate suitable for interesting plant and animal species not usually found in this part of Southern Africa. Magoebaskloof Magoebaskloof is the escarpment on the edge of the highveld, and ventures through th some of the most magnificent country down to Tzaneen and the Lowveld. The area in and around Tzaneen has plenty of wedding reception venues to offer and some of the most beautiful senery in the country. When in the area be sure to check out the Modjadji Nature Reserve and the Debengeni Falls!
