About Moholoholo
Forest Camp is situated on the slopes of the majestic North Eastern Lowveld Drakensberg mountain range. Hidden in a luscious rain forest, below Mariepskop, also known as Moholoholo - "The Very Great One" approximately 60km from Kruger National Park Orpen Gate. Moholoholo is host to a unique habitat for over 300 Bird species including 34 species of Raptors, and 5 Primates, amongst them the very rare Samango monkey. Moholoholo Forest Camp will give you a taste of Africa at its very best! The lovely setting of the camp soon soothes away stress while the peace and quiet of unspoiled nature becomes a way of life. Country-style cooking enhances the intimate atmosphere experienced at Forest Camp. As the concept at Moholoholo is based on the environment and nature, we do not have a swimming pool, television, radios, telephones or any shopping facilities. There is however a well stocked shop, filling station and bottle store nearby at Kampersrus. Moholoholo is ideally located, being a short drive from the Kruger and close by to surrounding major towns.

		Moholoholo as a Destination Wedding
		Moholoholo is a premier wedding venue in the Limpopo province, famed as home of the Kruger National Park and other acclaimed Wilderness Reserves. The surrounding trees and tropical climate and vegetation make for a picture perfect location. so enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, sunshine and nature on your wedding day at Moholoholo. Weddings are held at the picturesque Ya Mati, under giant leafy trees and immaculate lawns. Have your ceremony at Ya Mati and make your dreams come true in our beautiful rock and thatch chapel. Ya Mati is situated on the banks of the Blyde River and creates a magical backdrop for your wedding photographs. We have two reception options: The marquee tent which is avalible will be set out on the rolling lawns under the trees. The marquee can be hired for weddings with up to 160 guests. All decor can be provided for, and when set up creates a romantic and intimate reception venue. Secondly we have a newly built thatched restaurant which can be hired out for receptions with up to 100 guests. This reception venue offers beautiful views of the gardens and surrounds and an 'open air' atmosphere. At Moholoholo we always go the distance in offering you magical extras to give your wedding a magical touch including romantic fairy lights, wedding photographs with our beautiful animals, unique transportation and decor for your reception.

Accommodation at Moholoholo
Spend your first night as husband and wife in our secluded honeymoon chalet. It features an en-suite bathroom, private pool, private garden, large corner bath, romantic bedroom and sexy outdoor shower. If your family and friends want to stay at Moholoholo, why not make a weekend of it, there is plenty for luxurious room for everyone. Forest Camp accommodates a maximum of 22 people in 11 secluded, luxuriously appointed thatched, log or reed chalets. Each chalet is uniquely decorated, has en-suite facilities and ceiling fans in the bedrooms ensuring a most comfortable stay.The main building is where the dining room and deck are situated. The deck overlooks a small shady waterhole under a canopy of large trees where Nyala and Bushbuck come to quench their thirst together with Samango monkeys under the watchful eyes of birds such as green Twinspots, Paradise Fly Catchers and Pygmy Kingfishers. The waterhole is floodlit at night and visited by nocturnal animals such as Bushpig, Civet and Porcupine. Scrumptuous home style meals are served around a bushveld fire or on the thatched deck set high above the forest floor.
