Picture hurricane lamps hung in trees. White linen tables strewn with hydrangea, rose petals and lavender. Polished silver, cut glass, delicate crockery and champagne served on rolling green lawns. With our stunning wineland location - celebrating your wedding at Palmiet is what dreams are made of. Many couples choose to get married in the Estate’s beautiful gardens with only the sky and the majestic mountains and vineyards as the backdrop. Alternatively, couples choose the romantic stone thatched chapel, or the Homestead’s rooftop which overlooks the Estate. Within easy driving distance of Cape Town, the Estate is a popular venue for brunches, luncheons and cocktail parties. Dinners held in the underground wine cellar are also catered for, for up to 60 guests. The Estate can accommodate a maximum of 27 guests overnight, and there are many surrounding venues that can accommodate more. Whether it’s a wedding for two, or a happy celebration with family and friends, we will take care of every detail of the day for you - from breakfast, to the moment you lay your head on a lavender strewn pillow in our indulgently romantic honeymoon suite.
