Reynita & Louis

[dropcap color=”rosy”]O[/dropcap]n the weekend of the 8th of September my boyfriend of almost 6 years took me away to Robertson for the weekend. We stayed in a secluded house in the mountains on a farm. The Saturday we decided to take a drive down the mountain and to take pictures of the peach blossoms or that’s what I thought… We walked 8.5 rows into the peach plantation and took photo’s of each other with the peach blossoms. Then my now fiance walked towards me and said that when we went to my father’s grave on Thursday night it was so that he could ask my father something, because he knows how much my father meant to me. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and make him the luckiest man in the world. Of course, I said yes and during this the peach blossoms fell around us like confetti. Everything was perfect and mother nature also helped with her confetti to make the moment even more romantic. I didn’t even expect it at all.

    Hi. I’m the Carl from
I know this is a competition, and that comments mean votes, but to me it is more than that.
This is about marriage and the people who take that step. You have chosen this path, and my wish is that your relationship may be blessed.
Congratulations on your engagement and all the best for the big day – and every day of your journey together.
