Situated in Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, possibly the most beautiful botanical gardens in the world, the Silver Tree Restaurant is world renowned for its fine food and spectacular surroundings. Our inspired architecture is enhanced by the spectacular surrounding of mountains, tumbling streams, huge trees and indigenous plantings. Our restaurant looks out onto the Eastern slopes of Table Mountain, a picturesque and tranquil view that is sure to set a relaxed mood conducive to both romance and celebration. The Silvertree Restaurant is a breathtaking venue in summer with our floor-to-ceiling glass doors looking out into the beautiful Garden. Winter occasions are cozy and intimate when we use our very large fireplace to make the entire venue glow with warmth. Whatever the season you choose for your wedding at Silvertree Restaurant you and your guests will be enchanted by the natural beauty of the surroundings.

		Our Silver Tree Restaurant is a popular venue for hosting the ideal wedding celebration and reception. Kirstenbosch Gardens have an amazing Sculpture Garden that we use for the celebration. There is a charming gazebo where you can exchange vows under the backdrop of the mountain. The gazebo is surrounded by beds of white flowers and green foliage ensuring a neutral backdrop to your ceremony. After the ceremony, have your pictures taken in these magnificent gardens while your guests enjoy cocktails and canapes on the terrace overlooking the gardens. In the winter months they can enjoy a glass of gluhwein as they warm up around the log fire. Your reception will be held in our restaurant where we supply the linen, cutlery, crockery and table settings. This leaves you with time for organising finer details like seating arrangements, place cards and wedding favours. We can help you with a list of suppliers for flowers, photographers and other services. We have a dance floor so you can hire a DJ or live music for your reception. You have a wide choice of menu options that will tantalize your taste buds, prepared by our skilled and progressive chef. Select your choice of menu from our set or buffet menus, which can also be tailored to suit your preference as you decide what will suit the style and theme of your reception. We have a more intimate area of our restaurant we use for weddings of up to 50 guests. In the summer months we can organise special picnic baskets for you and your guests for you to enjoy the beautiful and tranquil surroundings. We will do all we can to ensure that the wedding of your dreams becomes a reality!
