The Riverhouse A unique setting for breakfast and lunch garden weddings. Positioned at the rivers' edge it has wooden decking extending over the Wilgespruit. This protected venue is ideal for al fresco weddings and functions. Stunningly situated in a tranquil part of the garden.
The Mulder Room The venue will seat up to 180. The front stoep can seat 50, and is ideal for smaller weddings and functions. The two can be combined as they are separated by large sliding doors.

The Bridge is conveniently situated only 20 minutes from Randburg and Fourways, and approximately 35 minutes from Pretoria. Our well-planned menus are prepared and presented by our very talented and highly trained chef, and along with our team of dedicated staff has made The Bridge famous for our food and service. We offer both plated and buffet meals. We do not charge venue hire. You only pay for food, drinks and waiters. There are no other charges or hidden costs for the venue. However should you wish, we can assist you with your flower, music and cake requirements. All of this can be offered in house.
Your Ceremony For weddings we have a country chapel that comes complete with drapes, chair covers, fairy lights, lectern, registry table and two flower stands.
You may prefer a romantic gazebo, situated on the bank of the river for your wedding ceremony, that you can drape and decorate with fresh flowers. As a special touch, we have a small rowboat we use to bring the bride to the wedding service which is a very unique way of arriving at your wedding. The use of the chapel, gazebo and boat is included in your fee.
Table Settings The Bridge provides you with: tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, linen, glassware, chair covers, a choice from 20 different coloured overlays.
To qualify for no venue hire, certain conditions apply regarding the number of guests at a function. From September to May: Saturdays = 100 people or more Sundays = 70 people or more Fridays = 60 people or more For a small price we can offer the hire of extras including, tie back sashes, slate or glass underplates, draping, fairy lights and vases. |
