The Perfect place to Say "I Do" Venue Options For The Wedding Reception The Castle Kyalami offers four different venues suitable for the Wedding reception:- The Bastion; The Bailey; The Stables; and The Cellar. We can cater for "royal" weddings for 500 guests, to small intimate weddings for only 20 guests!   The Bailey Venue Once used as a workshop to build a yacht. The Bailey transformed provides a splendid setting for weddings. Partitions allow the venue to be divided into four smaller rooms depending on your requirements. Each room has an adjoining reception area and opens out onto a patio. The Bailey can accommodate from 30 to 160 guests.  Above The Bailey venue, the wooden Bailey Deck sets the perfect area for pre-drinks whilst the sun sets over the Magaliesberg Mountain range. The Bailey Deck - with its panoramic views , and can also be used for the wedding ceremony.   The Stables Venue Formerly an equestrian area which could house 28 horses, The Stables Venue is now a stately yet versatile banqueting venue that can accommodate from 160 to 500 guests. With the original stable doors set into the walls and neutral colours continuing the theme, The Stables allows for great flexibility in decor. The design of the venue allows for soft draping of the walls, and strip draping in the roof . Fairy lights adds to the overall romantic mood. The Ascot, The Epsom and The Stables Foyer is a sub dividable area in front of The Stables Venue, suitable for welcome drinks or the wedding ceremony.  The Cellar Venue The Cellar houses an extensive wine collection, and provides a perfect venue for small intimate wedding receptions. The Cellar can offer seating for a maximum of 30 guests without a dance floor, and a maximum of 20 guests if a dance area is included.The Cellar has its own private entrance, bar / cocktail area, lounge and bathroom. The Cellar has its own unique set menu selection. Tempting cuisine is on offer like Calamari and Proscuitto Anti Pasta , Ostrich Fillet, Chicken and Prawn Roulade, and Jasmine and Ginger Creme Brulee - to name just a few.

 

The Ceremony
Although we do not have a chapel on-site, a few options are available if you wish to have your Wedding Ceremony at The Castle Kyalami. Bastion Weddings Suggested for the ceremony :  - The Bastion Outdoor Terrace, which offers beautiful views (only for Bastion exclusivity packages)  - The Residents Lounge area, situated above the Bastion Venue (only for Bastion exclusivity packages)  - The Bailey Venues  - The Bastion Upper, a raised area in The Bastion venue Bailey Weddings Suggested for the ceremony :  - The Bailey Deck which is an outdoor deck situated above the The Bailey Venue, which offers stunning views, OR  -  The Bailey Venue can be sub divided with partitioning so that the venue is used for both the wedding reception and the ceremony. The Bailey Venue is also suitable as a "rain / poor weather plan" should your first choice be The Bailey Deck. Stables Weddings  Suggested for the ceremony :   -  The Stables Foyer, Epson or Ascot in front of The Stables Venue, OR  - The Stables Venue can be draped so that the venue is used for both the wedding reception and the ceremony, OR  - The Bailey Venue Cellar Weddings Suggested for the ceremony :  - The cellar lounge area OR  - One of the sub-divided Bailey Venues For outdoor weddings, the Castle Kyalami offers additional items for hire as follows : Garden gazebo (please see the "frills" section on the web site) Gazebo draping White or cream chair covers Red carpet White Caribbean umbrellas

		Accommodation
		The magnificent master suite has its own lounge, sunroom, private balcony, luxurious feather bed, a sunken Jacuzzi bath. and a shower for two. For those cold winter nights snuggle up in front of your own private fireplace.    Imagine a luxurious bubble bath with rose petals and candles to set the mood, and sparkling wine to toast the evening.   Before the ceremony The master suites elegant marble bathroom with its expanse of mirrors is a dramatic setting for the bride's photographs while she is getting ready for her special day. The spacious bedroom and lounge can even accommodate all the brides maids while they too get ready. Bastion Exclusivity Package The Bastion exclusivity package automatically includes all 23 rooms for the night of the wedding. All guests staying over are also treated to a delicious buffet breakfast the following morning! Rooms available Twenty four unique and elegantly appointed hotel rooms with en-suite bathrooms are available to the bridal party and wedding guests.   The interior decor uses masculine colours, print and textures without compromising on comfort to reflect a modern castle with traditional foundations.  The 23 hotel rooms are comprised of 1 master suite/ honeymoon suite; 9 luxurious suites; 4 deluxe rooms; and 9 standard rooms. All rooms have and en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, and a remote controlled colour television   Our Gift to You If your wedding party has more than eighty guests attending, we will provide the bride and groom with a complimentary hotel room for the evening of the wedding.
