| The Victoria Falls, otherwise know as Mosi-au-Tunya, (the Smoke that Thunders), boarders Zambia and Zimbabwe on the Zambezi River. The falls are amongst the largest in the world, taking the title of widest at 1708 meters. On average 550,000 cubic meters of water plummet over the edge every minute, making the falls a spectacular site that one can not miss! |

The annual flood takes the river and the falls to its most between the months of February and May, April been its highest, the spray is able to be seem from 50 km away. The viewing of the falls is at its best between the months of September and November as the spray is not too thick and the humidity not over baring. Not only is the area a natural wonder is has an abundance of activities on offer not for the faint hearted!
This itinerary may be adjusted to suit your nerves and needs, we have combined activities with a bush safari experience and luxury accommodation, which all honeymooners must enjoy!

From Victoria Falls your honeymoon will take you for some relaxation and an opportunity to explore the wonders of Lake Malawi, the 9th largest lake in the world which warm waters boast the largest array of fresh water tropical fish, a marine paradise. We recommend staying at beautiful Kaya Mawa on Likoma Island, where the diving and snorkeling are amongst the best in Lake Malawi. Day 1:
On your arrival to the Victoria Falls airport you will be met and transferred to The Stanley & Livingstone at Victoria Falls resort where you will be treated to a bottle of wine and fruit platter in your room on arrival. After refreshing yourself take time to relax and enjoy the scenery from the hotels balcony before enjoying a scrumptious meal and your turn down surprise! |

Day 2:
After breakfast transfer to the falls to spend the day admiring this majestic wonder, taking walks and cooling down in the mist created by the falling water. In the evening enjoy a Zambezi River sunset cruise for two.
Day 3:
It's time for adventure! Make you way back to the Zambezi for a white water rafting adventure, on one of the top ten rafting rivers in the world. This first day of rafting will take you down 23km of high adrenalin white water. You will stay overnight at the "beach" camp and try your hand at beach volleyball whilst admiring the sunset.
Day 4:
Today you will paddle 23km further down stream through a combination of flat water and rapids, you will then overnight between Upper and Lower Moemba.
Day 5:
Paddle a further 11km down stream to the Batoka Dam site where you will complete your white water adventure,

with a certificate to prove you have tackled the Zambezi! You will be transferred back to the Victoria Falls by land. We recommend spending the rest of the day lazing by the pool, or perhaps you would like to brave a trip to the Devils Pool for an afternoon dip
Day 6:
It's time to show each other just how brave you can be! Spend the morning walking with Lions and then head back to the Victoria Falls railway bridge for a Tandem Bungee Jump 111 meters the rough waters below. Nerves permitting you may also try a "Star Elevator" or perhaps a "Shooting Star" jump. Return to the hotel for a romantic three course dinner for two under the stars which can wither take place under the stars or on your suites balcony.
Day 7:
Get ready to be amazed by the bush, experience an African Elephant back safari on the hotels wildlife conservancy. You may then head back to the falls for some more adventure, such as abseiling or perhaps jet boating, then return to the reserve for an evening game drive.

Day 8:
A travel day. Depart Victoria Falls and head to the Vilanculos in Mozambique; from here you will be transferred to Indigo Bay on the magical island of Bazaruto via light aircraft. Enjoy a bottle of wine and fruit platter on arrival.
Day 9 - Day 14:
Spend the next 6 days experiencing all that Indigo Bay has to offer. Dive amongst the tropical wonders of this marine national park, or snorkel from above. Enjoy the thrill of motorized water sports, dune boarding, Horse Riding, and Fishing to name a few. The abundance of activities will keep you entertained and the location will allow you to relax after your adventures at Victoria Falls.
Day 15: Depart Indigo Bay for your return trip home, taking with you memories and stories that will last a life time! |
